“Hello! I am one of the receptionists at Southill Vets, having worked at the Wincanton branch for over twenty years.

I have two grown up daughters and have lived in Wincanton my whole life. In 2017 we welcomed two new additions to the family – a gorgeous baby grandson and a cute Whippet grandson, both of which keep me busy, one with knitting and the other with walkies! When I am not at work I enjoy socialising and meeting up with friends, spending time with my husband and going on holidays abroad.”

Jill Sweetman – Practice Administrator – Wincanton Branch

I am also the person at the end of each month who generates the wages!

On a personal level, I am one of a few members of staff who does not have any animals at present, but have been brought up with dogs and have a general love of all animals.”

Since being Head Nurse over the past few years, I have decided to have a change and now deal with the practices Client care, advertising, website designing, reception, promotions, and social media.

In my spare time I like to make jewellery, visit Cyprus and dig fossils – although my husband and  daughter do keep me very busy! When I get time I like to watch box sets (sometimes back to back episodes!), such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Lucifer an Dexter!”
