Rabbits also need vaccination to help protect them against common and potentially life threatening diseases such as rabbit haemorrhagic disease (RHD) and myxomatosis. Rabbits can contract these diseases from other rabbits, and also parasites such as fleas. RHD can also be spread via environmental contamination, such as on bedding. Please discuss vaccinations for your rabbit with your veterinary surgeon.
